Abstract: This research is an attempt, the researcher intends to deliver a light on the role of Arabic language in the development of Quranic schools in Nigeria, through the answers of the following questions: When the Arabic language disseminate in the Quranic schools' system? How is it influence the system? What are the main stages of the development of Arabic language in the Quranic schools? How the Arabic language was succeeding in protecting its identity in spite of the attempting of colonials to eradicate its shining? What is the situation of Arabic language in the contemporary Quranic schools today? These and other important related issues the researcher will explain and discuss them critically.
